HOW MANY LASER HAIR REMOVAL
TREATMENTS WILL I NEED
Depending on the part of the body being treated, the thickness and coloring of hair, and the color of skin beneath the hair, it can take anywhere from 3-12 treatments to permanently remove hair.
These treatments should be done 4-6 weeks apart.

TREATMENTS WITH CANDELLA FEEL LIKE
We use a small hand piece that applies quick pulses of laser light to your skin. You will feel a gradual warming sensation at the treatment area, and could feel brief discomfort which is often described as similar to the sensation caused by a snapping rubber band on the skin. Most patients comment that the discomfort they feel during laser hair removal is minimal, and it is usually resolved within minutes of the procedure’s completion.
For those who are more sensitive to pain, a numbing creme may be used.

IPL VS LASER FOR HAIR REMOVAL
IPLs and lasers are two different technologies, both using heat to damage and kill the root of the hair follicle. IPL stands for Intense Pulsed Light and Laser is an acronym for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation.
IPLs produce a wider beam than a Laser does with a broad range of wavelengths with varying levels of depths. Only some wavelengths, will reach the follicle, depending on the sensitivity of skin. Lasers produce exactly one wavelength of high depth.
The result is a highly intense laser beam consisting of just one pure spectrum of light. This beam is produced solely to target the hair follicles at a high enough intensity, to kill the roots and stunt the hair growth permanently.
Another advantage of laser hair removal is the duration. One laser pulse can treat several hairs at a time at it takes no more than a fraction of second for one laser pulse to do its job. A great percentage of people have reported permanent results after just a few sessions.
